I am originally from South Africa and have always worked in the Hospitality industry, starting way back when I was waitressing while studying. I then worked in restaurant management and ended up as Regional Trainer for a well known South African restaurant group.
I moved over to the UK in 2003 and wanted a change in pace but didn't want to completely leave the industry and in Contract Catering I found what I was looking for! I started with The Good Eating Company managing one of their sites at an advertising agency and then worked in a variety of different roles within the company for the next 17 years.
I spent most of that time based at the Business Design Centre where I discovered Event Hospitality and LOVED it!! I initially started in Operations Management but then moved on to become Conference & Event Manager where I dealt with clients managing their catering requirements.
I joined Off to Work in October 2021 as Talent Placement & Operations Specialist and cant wait to see where this journey takes me!
