We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading contract caterer, for a Restaurant & Client Dining Manager to join a brand-new corporate dining operation in Canary Wharf.

As the operation develops, you’ll play an important role in establishing the day-to-day running of the restaurant, developing the team and building strong relationships with the client.
The role will suit an experienced manager from contract catering, high-end casual dining or a fast-paced restaurant environment. You’ll be confident running a busy operation, leading a team and delivering consistently high standards across service.

The Role
This is a hands-on management position within a new corporate dining operation. You’ll help establish the restaurant, set standards from the outset and create a well-run operation for both the team and client.
  • Lead by example throughout service, ensuring the operation is well organised and runs smoothly.
  • Build strong professional relationships with clients, stakeholders and the wider catering team.
  • Work closely with the kitchen to maintain food quality, availability and service standards.
  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation and cleanliness.
  • Monitor food costs and support the commercial performance of the operation.
  • Identify practical ways to improve the operation as it develops.
About You
Experience in a similar management role within contract catering, high-end casual dining, a busy restaurant or commercial visitor catering.
  • Confident leading busy services and managing a team.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Organised, hands-on and calm under pressure.
  • Good understanding of food costs and commercial operations.
  • Positive and proactive, with the ability to contribute to the success of a new operation.
