Job description

Corporate Receptionist (Client Experience Assistant)
£26,500 plus up to 10% site bonus
Mayfair London W1
40 hours per week
temporary to permanent

This is a reception desk you own. One flagship building, a client list you know by name, and a welcome that sets the tone for everyone who walks in.

A luxury serviced office operator in Mayfair is hiring a Client Experience Assistant for its flagship Central London centre.

What's on offer
  • £26,500 base, plus up to 10% site bonus based on site performance
  • 40 hours a week on a day shift rota, 0800 to 1700 or 0900 to 1800
  • A structured 24 month development path with four six month milestones
  • Future opportunity to step up to Assistant Centre Manager on completion
  • Training and support at a pace that suits you

The role
  • You run the reception desk and the client experience across one building, reporting to the Centre Manager. You greet every client and guest, manage visitor arrivals, and handle meeting room and boardroom bookings.
  • Daily walkrounds are yours. You check every floor and every shared space for presentation, and fix the small things before anyone has to ask.
  • You also own client move-ins. Offices, IT and access passes set up so a new client's first morning runs without a hitch.
  • Beyond the desk you get hands on with the back office. Billing support, reporting, facilities coordination and supplier liaison, so you learn how a centre actually runs. You will also host client events that make the building feel like a community.
  • This is a six star environment. The detail, the anticipation and the polish sit at the level you would find in fine dining, a Michelin starred restaurant or a five star hotel. If that is the standard you work to, you will feel at home, and you will be trained and supported to deliver it.
The process
  • A Teams interview with the Centre Manager, then a trial shift on site so you can see the building and the team for yourself.
  • The role starts on a four week temporary contract, which gives both sides a proper look before it moves onto a permanent contract.
What we're looking for
  • At least a year on a busy reception desk in a hotel, corporate reception or serviced office environment, or a year in luxury hospitality front of house. You are comfortable as a client's first point of contact and confident in professional client communication, face to face and by email.
  • You hold walkrounds, bookings and requests in the same day without dropping any of them. You take pride in a building that looks immaculate, and you meet the smart corporate dress code and presentation standards expected in a premium Mayfair environment.
