This is a contract caterer feeding the team on a major technology site in Waltham Cross. The kitchen opens on 14 September, so you are there from the start and the chefs will train you as you go.
 
The role
As Kitchen Assistant you work across the kitchen and the servery. You prep cold items, wash and portion salad, tray up breakfast items and keep the counter stocked.
 
At peak times you help the kitchen porter on the pot wash. You also take in deliveries, check them off and put stock away in the dry store.
 
Temperature checks, allergen labels and cleaning down are part of the day. Simple, steady work with a proper team around you.
 
What we're looking for
Some experience in a kitchen, staff restaurant or café. You do not need to be a chef. Basic food prep, food safety and being happy to move between prep, pot wash and deliveries matter more.
