Job description

Recruitment Assistant £14.50 per hour
Moorgate
Casual hours - one day a week to start

Off To Work is looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join the team in our Moorgate office.

You have spent years on the floor or in the kitchen. You can tell within a minute whether someone will hold a section or fold on a busy service. That instinct is worth something, and here it is the job.

This is hospitality experience put to work on the hiring side, with AI interview technology behind it.

What's on offer
  • £14.50 per hour, paid weekly, two weeks in arrears.
  • Daytime hours only. No evenings, no weekends, no split shifts. Around seven hours a day, usually 9am to 4pm or 10am to 5pm.
  • Days are agreed in advance and we can flex them around you. One day a week to start, rising to three to five days in peak periods.
  • Full training on the AI interview platform and the recruitment systems we use. You do not need a recruitment background if you know hospitality.
  • A permanent full time role is likely in the new year for the right person, five days a week with four in the office and one from home.
The role
  • You will review AI video interviews and score candidates against the questions set for each job.
  • You will build those question sets, so what candidates are asked tests what the job actually needs.
  • You will write job adverts for hospitality and contract catering roles, covering chefs, kitchen porters, waiting staff and catering assistants, and post them through our system.
  • You will run interviews on Microsoft Teams and speak with candidates directly about the roles they have applied for.
  • You will create candidate profiles that go out to clients, pulling experience, skills and availability into something a client can act on.
  • You will report into the Recruitment Services Manager and work alongside the wider recruitment team in the office.
What we're looking for
  • At least a year working in hospitality, in a kitchen, restaurant, bar or contract catering, or a year in recruitment
  • Confident speaking with candidates and clients by phone and on video calls
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Clear written English, since you will be writing adverts candidates read
  • Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK
An interest in AI and technology will take you a long way here. The interview platform sits at the centre of how we work, and the people who enjoy it get the most out of the role.

If you know hospitality and want to move into recruitment, apply today and we will be in touch.
