Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts following traditional and modern recipes.
- Create and design custom desserts and pastries for special events and daily offerings.
- Develop new recipes and continuously improve existing ones to keep the menu exciting and fresh.
- Monitor ingredients and supplies, ensuring inventory is maintained and orders are placed as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive menu and high-quality standards.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production.
- Creative ability to design and decorate desserts and pastries.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Culinary school training or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate
