An exciting opportunity has become available for an motivated, sales drive and people focused Sales Manager with responsibility for generating new business leads for the hotel as well as managing existing accounts to maximise revenue.
  
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role has a focus on the corporate market and key accounts, and requires a strong understanding of UK, Europe & Asian markets & selling events & private functions.
  
The Sales Manager will have proven experience of sales within a large, complex and fast paced Catering and Hospitality organisation, accompanied by the ability to listen, engage and influence at all levels.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • As a Sales Manager, you will be tasked with pro-active sales activities in order to source and develop new business opportunities, to maintain and grow relationships with key accounts and be responsible for managing the bidding process to ensure commercially sound, competitive and profitable financial deals to ensure opportunities for business growth are maximised.
  • Account management - To effectively manage existing accounts in assigned territory, to including account qualifying, determining strategies and revenue targets, relationship building, brick walling activities, monitoring performance and rate negotiation.
  • Business Development - To undertake prospecting activity to uncover new potential accounts in assigned territory and grow revenues.
The Sales Manager:
  • Minimum 2 years in upscale or luxury hospitality field, either agency, corporate or on-property with proven track record of success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Good negotiation skills and an ability to close business.
  • Ability to be flexible with time and manage work life balance and to be “on-call” during non-business hours.
