Leading Contract Caterer
Central London
Salary circa £55,000 + DOE
Predominantly Monday–Friday & Occasional weekends

An iconic and historic venue in central London is seeking an experienced Venue Catering General Manager to lead its operations. This prestigious site hosts high-profile events, formal banquets, and daily dining services in a setting that blends tradition with excellence.
 
 
The Role:
We are looking for a confident and commercially astute leader with a strong presence and the ability to manage a complex operation with autonomy and strategic vision. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar heritage or high-profile venue, overseeing catering, events, and hospitality services.
  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management – Drive profitability, control costs, and optimise revenue streams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships with key partners, clients, and senior figures.
  • Team Leadership – Manage and inspire a dedicated team of 20 including 4 HoD and long-standing staff.
  • Operational Excellence – Ensure seamless delivery of services, from corporate lunches to large-scale formal events.
  • Problem-Solving – Navigate challenges with confidence and adaptability.
  
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven managerial experience in high-end hospitality & catering operations in similar setting (heritage sites, private members' club, events venue). 
  • Gravitas and presence, able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving revenue.
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable handling operational complexities.
  • A passion for hospitality, with a deep understanding of food, service, and event management.
