We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading sports stadium in Hertfordshire as a Chef, cooking for professional athletes in their on-site restaurant. You will work closely with top nutritionists to create balanced, performance-driven meals that fuel athletic success.
You will be part of a small, dedicated kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional quality food while maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene. This is an ideal role for a passionate chef who wants to expand their knowledge of nutrition-based cooking.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals designed for athletes, following nutrition-led menus.
- Work closely with nutritionists to ensure meals meet specific dietary and performance needs.
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards in line with regulations.
- Assist with menu development and ensure allergen awareness across all dishes.
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and collaborative kitchen environment.
- Ensure the kitchen remains clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up.
- Passion for nutritious, high-quality food and an interest in athlete-focused cuisine.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work some weekends and early evenings (shifts typically 7am–3pm).
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and allergen safety.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
