We are seeking a commercially minded Contract Manager to manage the full delivery of Hard and Soft FM services, lead operational teams, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing facilities management across the estate.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major multi-site education contract, leading FM service delivery while driving commercial performance and outstanding client relationships.
The Role
You will oversee all FM operations including M&E maintenance, building fabric, grounds, cleaning, catering, caretaking, helpdesk services, subcontractor management, and the planning and delivery of lifecycle and variation works.

We are seeking a commercially minded Contract Manager to manage the full delivery of Hard and Soft FM services, lead operational teams, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing facilities management across the estate.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major multi-site education contract, leading FM service delivery while driving commercial performance and outstanding client relationships.
The Role
You will oversee all FM operations including M&E maintenance, building fabric, grounds, cleaning, catering, caretaking, helpdesk services, subcontractor management, and the planning and delivery of lifecycle and variation works.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing operational teams
- Managing subcontractors to meet performance, safety, and quality standards
- Delivering lifecycle programmes and project works on time and within budget
- Owning contract P&L, budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ensuring full contractual, statutory, and Health & Safety compliance
- Building strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Extensive experience delivering Hard and Soft FM services
- Proven success managing PFI contracts or complex estates
- 10+ years’ senior FM leadership experience
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Sound Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent IT, reporting, and analytical abilities
- Working knowledge of SFG20 & AP/RP frameworks
- NEBOSH or IWFM qualifications & Fire safety, Legionella, or CDM experience.
