Key Responsibilities for the Cafe Supervisor
- Preparing and serving high-quality barista-style coffee and beverages
- Delivering friendly, professional customer service to building staff
- Daily food preparation (e.g., sandwiches, grab-and-go items)
- Managing stock control and placing supplier orders
- Checking deliveries and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Processing invoices and maintaining basic financial records
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café at all times
- Opening and closing the café independently
- Fully trained and experienced Barista
- Previous experience in a café supervisory or senior café assistant role
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Experience with stock ordering, stock control, and invoice processing
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Organised, reliable, and proactive
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Monday to Friday working hours (no weekends)
