We have an amazing opportunity to join a young person's leisure resort as a cook. You will have experience working in high volume catering. You will play a vital part in making sure that customer satisfaction is high and that all guests have a great experience. You will participate in preparing and serving main meals as well as preparing cakes, pastries and snacks. As a Cook you will also play a leading part in making sure that strict hygiene procedures are adhered too.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals for large groups of people
- Ensure all meals meet dietary, religious, and medical requirements, including allergen awareness.
- Work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment while maintaining quality.
- Make sure the kitchen is clean and tidy
- Follow food hygiene and safety regulations to the highest standards.
- Assist with menu planning, incorporating variety and special dietary needs.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience.
- Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume catering kitchen
- Strong knowledge of allergens, special diets, and food safety regulations.
- A passion for food and creating meals that cater to diverse needs.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Food Hygiene Certificate
