Job Role: Head Chef

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef for a leading private education site based in Worcestershire . You will lead a kitchen team of 6 catering for around 600-800 on a daily basis so experience in large sites is essential for this role.
The Head Chef will provide all food for restaurant and cafe spaces as well as events a required. Good organisational skills are required as you will often have a lot going on at the same time, The main restaurant has 4 counters comprising - Pizza/Pasta bar, Classic, Loaded Potato's and Grab and Go. You should be up to date on what current food trends are and be able to introduce these to your menu's
The role is mainly Monday to Friday with core hours being 7am to 4pm however some evening events will be required and occasional weekends may be needed for summer schools and celebration events.
We are looking for a head chef who is keen on sustainability and cooking with healthy fresh produce. The site likes a lot of Plant based food options so Vegan knowledge would be helpful and as well as a passion for food.
This Head Chef role gives a good work / life balance as well as being supported by a Regional Group Chef and working closely with the Contract director to develop a clear strategy for taking the business forward.
