We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Deputy Events Operations Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various events hosted on the campus. From academic conferences to cultural festivals and weddings, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and success of each event.

Key Responsibilities:
Support and coordinate logistics such as room selection, catering, audiovisual setup, transportation, and accommodations.
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure all requirements are met.
Manage event budgets, track expenses, and negotiate contracts to maximize cost-effectiveness.
Supervise on-site event setup, ensuring everything runs according to plan and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Oversee event staff providing guidance and support as needed.
Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to events.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event operations, preferably in a
unique or heritage event space
Demonstrated leadership of an operational or events team
UK driving license, the role will require the driving of a small Van within the campus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
