Contract catering – B & I Sector
Central London 
Monday to Friday only
Salary up to £44,000 - DoE

My client is one of London’s Leading Catering Company operating within an International Organization and we are recruiting an experienced Events and Hospitality Booking Manager.
Our client’s venue is unique venue that offer amazing event and meeting spaces to hosts variety of high-end internal corporate events, conferences, dinner and hospitality.
As a guardian of their reputation, our client will rely on you to provide impeccable first line advice and guidance every time.

Main Accountabilities:

Reporting to the General Manager you will be the first point of contact with all internal stakeholders to the business and proactively grow, develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing key internal accounts with all the client portfolio.

  • To manage the dedicated Executive Booking Line and handle all requests promptly and efficiently; providing room booking service for the executive’s and their first direct reports ensuring that all requests are met, as and when required, preparing show rounds, hosting tastings for clients, quotes...etc, and providing a one to one consultation.

  • Work closely with all relevant departments to plan & deliver successful events, with responsibility for producing all the internal event details before handing over to our operational team, keeping them up to date with all daily amendments.

You will have a relaxed, engaging personality, who can build relationships with clients and colleague’s with ease and has a passion and ability to understand, interpret and empathise with every prospective and existing key requesters to ensure a smooth and consistent customer service experience to the Executive clientele.

 
You’ll need to :

Have had at last 3 years’ worth of experience in a similar role in either the Event & Conference Industry, Contract Catering – Business Sector or high-end Hotels where quality customer service was paramount.
Although the position is not a “sale role”, some experience and knowledge in “re-active sales” is required.

  • Have excellent communication and strong organisational skills, meticulously organised and efficient multi-tasker, highly proficient in both written and spoken English.

  • You will be passionate about the Hospitality and Event Industry and confident in liaising with prospect and exciting clients to identify opportunities to maximise revenue through up-selling,  results driven.

  • You will be resilient and work well under pressure, have accurate and consistent approach to customer service and departmental requirements.

  • Resilient and agile in nature, you can negotiate effectively and openly with clients and vendors, and clearly explain capabilities and constraints with empathy and patience.
