Job Title : General Manager
Location : Shropshire
Salary : £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.


We are recruiting for a General Manager on behalf of a breathtaking hotel situated in Shropshire's haven, and known for hosting the most spectacular weddings and events. 

They are looking for an experienced General Manager to come in and drive their team to excellence.

The Role 

 - Develop, oversee, and manage budgets to ensure financial health and sustainability. 
 - Lead housekeeping and maintenance teams, ensuring the property is impeccably presented and fully functional. 
 - Oversee seamless event execution in collaboration with our Professional wedding and event planners, the head chef, and bar management, ensuring every wedding and event is flawlessly executed. 
 - Strategically plan resources and utilities in alignment with business patterns and seasonal rhythms. 
 -Support the Head Chef and Kitchen team in product development and facilitate successful menu tastings. 
 - Curate and lead an exquisite range of beverage offerings, working with our Bar Manager to manage stock and controls to enhance the guest experience. 
 - Regularly inspect all areas for health and safety compliance, addressing issues promptly and maintaining accurate records. 
- Take responsibility for certain aspects of venue security to ensure a safe and secure environment.
 -  Oversee the operation and management of a collection of self-catering units, ensuring guests receive a premium experience.

Ideal Candidate 

 - Proven experience in a senior management role within luxury hospitality or event venue.
 -Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management.
 - Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
 - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
 - Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of presentation and functionality.
