Staffing and Talent Solution Agency
5 days per week (40-hour week), Mon-Sun rota-based shifts
£30,000 - £35,000 PA dependent on experience

Off To Work is looking for their next superstar Operations & Staffing Manager! We place amazing people in amazing places, and we need help to make that happen!. 

Working within this close-knit Birmingham team, you will provide support in every operational aspect of the department. An Operations & Staffing Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality teams for events and hospitality clients.
  
You will learn to successfully manage and develop a client base and become a hiring pro! We are constantly looking out for talent, so advert writing, interviewing and onboarding will become second nature for our next Operations & Staffing Manager!
  
You will maintain and develop excellent relationships with the casual team, to profile and match candidates to our client’s requirements. Our Operations & Staffing Manager will be very much involved in staff engagement, development, welfare and retention. 

Our Operations & Staffing Managers are often found out on-site with our clients making sure what we are delivering is on point. From checking in teams and carrying out uniform and grooming checks to even working a shift where a senior presence is needed.
  
Minimum requirements 

  • Management experience in events, customer service, hospitality

  • Excellent communication skills including fluency in spoken English and exceptional written English 

  • Confident phone manner and the ability to engage appropriately with applicants, casual staff and clients 

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Drive and determination with attention to detail and an innate ability to focus on a variety of tasks

  • An inspirational leader who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty

  • There will be a requirement to work longer hours and weekend work and you’ll be required to be on-call with the operations mobile on a rotating schedule - time in lieu.

  • Drivers Licence (Advantageous but not essential)
