We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef to join our catering team at a young person’s leisure retreat in Dunkeld In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a high-volume kitchen, catering to large groups of students and staff each day. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals for a large number of students and staff.
- Ensure all meals meet dietary, religious, and medical requirements, including allergen awareness.
- Work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment while maintaining quality.
- Follow food hygiene and safety regulations to the highest standards.
- Assist with menu planning, incorporating variety and special dietary needs.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety procedures.
- Ensure high standards of food are adhered to at all times
- Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of allergens, special diets, and food safety regulations.
- A passion for food and creating meals that cater to diverse needs.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
