Chef De Partie – Young Persons Leisure Retreat
42 Hours – No Late Finishes
Salary £29,302. 20 Per Annum
Live In Option Available
Full uniform provided  
 
Our client are recruiting an Assistant Chef  to work in their Young persons leisure retreat. You will be responsible for providing high quality catering for 900 guests and 260 staff.  You will thrive in a busy and varied environment.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct regular checks to maintain high food quality and presentation standard
  • Manage catering budgets and ensure cost control while maintaining service quality
  • Assist the chef to make sure food is prepared in a timely manner
  • Work to ensure that all dietary requirements are meet
  • Maintain a high standard of food preparation
  • Ensure that food is delivered on time.
   

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Must be fully food allergen trained and well versed in all areas of kitchen and food hygiene
  • Kitchen management experience is preferred. Candidates should be natural leaders who welcome responsibility, drive standards and optimise efficiency
  • Candidates must have high volume catering. You must understand how to prep and deliver dishes to scale, ensuring the food is freshly prepared, nutritious & delicious
  • Advanced DBS is essential
