Exciting Opportunity: Front of House Assistant at a Renowned Sporting Venue
We're thrilled to offer an excellent opportunity to join a well-known sporting ground as a Front of House Assistant. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. This role is 37.5 hours per week. You must have a level of flexibility.
As part of our team, you'll ensure the front of house area runs smoothly — keeping tables clean and tidy, restocking vending machines, and delivering outstanding customer service at all times. You'll be the friendly face that creates a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
You'll also have the chance to gain valuable experience in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation and ensuring all health and safety standards are met.

As a Front of House Assistant, your key duties will include:
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensuring tables, seating areas, and public spaces are kept clean and presentable at all times
- Restocking and maintaining vending machines and other refreshment areas
- Delivering excellent customer service and handling any guest enquiries promptly and politely
- Supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation and service when required
- Following all health, safety, and hygiene procedures in both front and back-of-house areas
- Assisting with setting up and clearing down before and after service periods or events
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Ideally, you will have:
- A friendly and approachable personality with great communication skills
- A strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
- The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- A willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or customer service (desirable but not essential)
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and event days as required
