Job Role: Head Chef - CPU

A great opportunity to join a leading Contract Caterer in the heart of the City, The starting salary is £60,000 - £65,000 for 40 hours per week, You will work Sunday to Thursday each week with shift starting at 6am. Please only apply if you are happy to work with this shift pattern!
The Head Chef will lead a small team to ensure all the daily prep for different sites is fully completed to a high standard, This is a very busy operation so experience in volume catering is referred.
Duties of the Head Chef and kitchen team will be to prepare grab and go items, breakfast and fruit pots, Different Salads and Sandwiches. Grazing boxes and other items for lunch service.
This role will require good organization and planning to ensure all food gets prepared and out in time to be delivered into sites around central London. Numbers of dishes to be prepared will vary during the week but expect to prepare up to 500 grab and go items, 200 for breakfast and 100 salads as well as other items.
A Head Chef with previously experience of CPU would be preferred for this role or chefs with large volume experience in banqueting or high end events can also be considered.
