We are seeking an experienced and proactive Dining Room Supervisor to join our Catering Team, a vital part of delivering an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will ensure dining room operations run efficiently while providing additional management support to the team. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of front-of-house operations during meal services, ensuring a smooth, well-presented, and efficient dining experience for guests.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across all dining and public areas.
  • Display strong knowledge of food, dietary, and allergen safety, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry best practices, and internal HACCP standards.
  • Liaise with Head Chefs and Catering Manager on dietary and allergen requirements, communicating relevant information accurately to guests.
  • Monitor service quality, address guest queries, and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to minimize waste and ensure seamless service.
  • Provide hands-on support to the team during busy periods to meet service SLAs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by assessing and refining operational procedures in line with company standards.
  • Manage and coach front-of-house colleagues, providing on-the-job training, feedback, and performance management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a catering or hospitality environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, allergen management, and HACCP compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to guest feedback and operational challenges.
  • DBS cleared or be willing to get a DBS check
