A Unique Leadership Role in a Dynamic Day-to-Night Café & Bar
London

We're seeking an experienced and driven General Catering Manager to lead an innovative café and bar concept within a luxury living environment. This is no ordinary operation—by day, it serves premium coffees, fresh pastries, and deli-style lunches; by night, it transforms into a stylish wine and cocktail bar offering curated small plates.

The Role
You’ll be at the helm of a venue that blends the energy of a high-end café with the polish of a boutique hotel bar. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing day-to-day operations and setting high standards across coffee, wine, cocktails, and food
  • Leading a diverse, split-shift team with energy, empathy, and clear communication
  • Navigating multiple stakeholder relationships with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Using insight and initiative to drive business performance and guest satisfaction
  • Overseeing reporting, rota management, and performance reviews with confidence and accuracy.
This role requires a rare balance of operational skill, team leadership, and emotional intelligence. You’ll need to keep the team motivated, the experience consistent, and the offering fresh—even during quieter times.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven leadership experience in a hospitality or high-end café/bar environment
  • A confident communicator with a mature, hospitality-first mindset
  • Strong people management skills across varied shifts and team dynamics
  • Comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders in a corporate-residential setting
  • A passion for coffee, with working knowledge of wines and cocktails
  • A commercial mindset—capable of identifying growth opportunities and driving results
  • Tech-savvy: confident with reporting, spreadsheets, and operational tools
  • Flexibility to work across a 5-day schedule, including weekends on rotation
