Job Role: Head Chef

Salary: £44,000 - £45,000

We are working with an amazing Venue in West Sussex and looking for a Head Chef for the kitchen. This role is based on 40 hours and will require some weekend work as well so likely every other weekend on rotational basis. Core hours are 8am to 4.30pm and you will work on a 5/7 rota. During the summer this is a busy operation and in winter months things slow down.
The Head Chef will work with a Sous Chef and CDP's and KP. You will produce a lunch offer daily as well as sandwiches and light snacks. There are a couple of different outlets so good organisational skills will be required. You will write menu's for all food offers. There may be 2/3 events during the year where evening hours may be required.
A creative head chef will be able to expand the current food offer and bring in more customers through the year. Some experience of working in a commercial operation woudl be beneficial or in a visitor attraction so you understand customer expectations.
If you are an experienced Head Chef and this role is local to you it could be a fantastic long term position working in conjunction with the General Manager who is great support and will enable you to make your food vision a reality
