£14.28 per hour - 37.5 hours per week
Mainly Monday to Friday
Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at a very busy school, which also hosts regular events and functions. This is a physically demanding role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Washing up, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils
- Keeping kitchens, storage areas and delivery zones clean and organised
- Assisting chefs and catering staff with basic food preparation
- Handling deliveries, including regular heavy lifting and moving stock
- Supporting school meals service and evening/weekend events when required
- Adhering to food hygiene, health & safety standards at all times
- Physically fit and able to cope with heavy lifting and long periods on your feet
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Willing to be flexible, especially during busy school events
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
- A supportive team environment
