Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Warehouse Operations: Ensure the smooth event logistics planning and dispatch processes
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock control, including equipment, supplies, and perishables, ensuring accurate records and optimal stock levels.
- Logistics Coordination: Plan and execute the packing and dispatch of equipment and goods for events, ensuring timely delivery.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot logistical challenges and implement effective solutions in high-pressure situations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is checked, cleaned, and maintained to the highest standard.
About You:
UK driving licence is essential / an advantage.
Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in the catering or events industry.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and basic IT skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.
