West London
Salary circa £40,000 to £42,000 - DoE

Off to Work is delighted to be supporting our client, a leading independent school in West London, in the recruitment of an experienced Catering & Hospitality Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Catering & Hospitality and working closely with the Executive Head Chef, the Catering & Hospitality Manager will play a hands-on leadership role, delivering high-quality daily lunch and hospitality services for around 1,200 students and staff.
This varied role combines day-to-day operational management with responsibility for a broad catering and hospitality remit, including internal events and occasional external functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the daily food service, ensuring smooth operations across all dining areas.
  • Plan and deliver hospitality for a wide range of internal school functions and events, such as meetings, staff gatherings, parent receptions, and formal dinners.
  • Oversee the delivery of internal and external events to the highest standard.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure catering and hospitality requirements are met.
  • Support seasonal programmes, such as Easter and Summer initiatives.
  • Manage and develop front-of-house teams, promoting high service standards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance hospitality and events services.

Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in catering management ideally within the Education Sector / Contract Catering.
  • Strong team leadership with a hands-on, approachable style.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid people management abilities.
  • Understanding of stock control, financial processes, and basic budgeting.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards.
  • Flexible, calm under pressure, and able to lead by example.
