My client is a specialist caterer, dedicated to delivering the highest quality food and service to discerning business organisation.
We are looking for a creative, energetic, ambitious General Manager for a Brighton & Hove based role with a clear progression path within the UK Leading Catering Company.
Who are you?
As the General Manager you will have proven previous experience in a management role in retail catering, hospitality or contract and be an entrepreneurial and commercially focused manager.
You will be passionate about standards, crazy about good food and able to manage demanding stakeholder relationships.
From retail grab and go and artisan coffee Bar style employee dining and Hospitality suites the delivery of a 5* services is non-negotiable with the successful General Manager demonstrating an unwavering attention to detail.
What you’ll be doing:
As General Manager, you will oversee the smooth running of the day to day operations and lead a dedicated catering team, overseeing the services in the café & staff dining Restaurant, Hospitality and Events and ensuring the highest levels of customer service at all time.
You will proactively initiate marketing and merchandising plans regarding innovations in food and food service to contribute and exceed all expectations to an excellent customer experience, and optimising sales and profitability to ensure delivery of departmental financial targets.
Demonstrating full alignment with the client vision and remaining continually aware of the customer journey, pressure points and opportunities.
Identify, motivate, train, develop and directs managers to deliver exceptional results and accomplish goals and projects.
You will have and be:
Obsessed with amazing customer service and client’s relation.
Full of personality, energy and charisma, with excellent communication skills to build great relationships
Strong organisation skills and commercial awareness – seeing beyond the obvious and being resourceful by seizing opportunities and solving problems.
Great business savvy, an entrepreneurial spirit and self-drive. Someone who think outside the box and bring creativity.
Excellent knowledge of high street food and beverage trends in the grab and go, casual dining and coffee bar sectors.
Strong financial understanding and demonstrable budgeting management.
