Catering General Manager
Multi-unit catering operation
Twycross, Leicestershire
Salary: Up to £55,000 DoE

25 days annual leave (excluding BH)
5 days over 7

  

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large, fast-paced multi-unit catering operation at a high-profile visitor attraction.
This hands-on leadership role has full responsibility for the day-to-day management and running of the catering operation, overseeing a diverse food and beverage offer that includes quick-service kiosks, food concessions & outlets.
With retail food forming the majority of sales, you will focus on driving standards, increasing sales, managing budgets & costs, and team performance; while keeping the guest experience at the heart of every decision.
This is an exciting opportunity for a General Manager with a strong commercial mindset and experience managing multiple food outlets.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for the day-to-day running of all catering operations across multiple units.
  • Managing budgets, forecasting, controlling costs and labour, and maximising profitability.
  • Recruiting, training, developing and motivating a large on-site team
  • Driving sales growth through new concepts, ideas and innovations.
  • Identifying commercial opportunities to improve guest spend & satisfaction.
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across food quality and service.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in a senior catering or General Manager role managing multi-site and/or multi-unit food operations – this is essential
  • Strong background in contract catering, visitor attractions or high-volume hospitality.
  • Commercially focused with excellent budget management skills
  • Confident leader with experience managing large teams.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to bring ideas & drive innovation.
  • Strong communication skills with clients and operational teams.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and a passion for driving improvement.
