Job Role: Prep Chef - Cafe and Restaurant

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

We are working with a lovely new independent deli / restaurant in the lovely Cotswold's. This will be for a new opening and the chance to grow and develop closely with the Owners. Future plans include opening a 50 Seater restaurant serving home grown hearty meals and fresh weekly specials.
The Prep Chef will work 40 hours per week with core hours being 7am to 3/4pm each day and no late evenings will be required. Daily tasks will involve the preparation of - Sausage Rolls, Scotch Eggs, smoked meats, Baking pastries, prepping salads, gelato etc all from scratch.
We are looking for a chef with fresh produce experience who has good attention to detail and who is looking for a great work / life balance in a lovely operation with a very friendly and helpful team.
The Chef will need solid experience and can demonstrate a good work history and this role will have the chance to progress int he future as well as the owner has good plans.
The operation will be 7 days and the Prep Chef will be working most weekends over the busy summer season and be on a 5/7 day rota. I
