We are recruiting a Business Lounge Assistant Manager to support the leadership and daily operations of an exclusive customer lounge within an international rail or transport setting. This is a hands-on management role where service excellence, team leadership, and operational control are essential to success.

The Role
As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Lounge Manager to deliver a smooth, premium guest experience while maintaining high operational standards.
You will lead from the front — visible on the floor, supporting your team, resolving issues, and ensuring the lounge operates to a five-star standard at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the full day-to-day lounge operations.
Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service.
Manage shift planning, service flow, and staffing levels.
Maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards.
Support stock control, cost management, and KPI performance.
Handle guest feedback and escalations professionally.

We are seeking a confident and commercially aware hospitality professional who:
Has experience in premium hospitality, airport or rail lounges, or hotel food and beverage operations as a manager or assistant manager.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-footfall environments.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Is flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Has good conversational French (additional European languages are an advantage).
Compliance Requirements:
Candidates must be able to provide five years of continuous UK work history.
A successful DBS check will be required prior to employment.
