We are working with a leading Contract Catering Company and looking for a relief Chef Manager for their Central patch, This is mainly B&I sites and the role will be a mainly a Monday to Friday position but flexibility is needed as there may be an occasional weekend. 


The Chef Manager will cover around 10-12 units around the Central region. The patch covers up to Birmingham in the north and Oxford in the South with sites also being in areas such as Leicester, Leamington, Swindon and Banbury. A Chef living centrally of these areas would be ideally located however we will consider applicators from all areas. 


The ideal Chef Manager will have worked within Contract Catering before and be happy to travel on a daily / weekly basis and stay in hotel accommodation as required.


The majority of units are staff dining operations with some hospitality so buffets, Sandwich lunches as well as some that offer formal fine dining events. So an all round chef with experience in all areas is preferred. Most hours will be 7am to 3.30pm with a very occasional evening event if required.


From Menu planning to holiday cover to POS presentation the Chef Manager will have a varied role depending on which site they are at, The jobs will mainly be week by week or a few weeks at a time so you can get settled ion to the role instead of constant movement. 


Mileage is covered as well as Hotel accommodation if required and working away from home. A £20 evening meal allowance is also included when working away.


We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef Manager who ideally has contract catering experience or understands the requirements for corporate dining.
