Job Role: Sous Chef

We are looking for a Sous Chef and we are working with a leading Contract Catering company for Private Education site in Northamptonshire, this is a large operation and you need experience in working in large scale operations, ideally from within Education but a strong hotel banqueting background could be suitable.
This is such a nice role as the kitchen and catering team are so supportive and work very closely together. You will work hard during the school term and may be required to work extra hours, then during holidays you will have Lieu time to take back so you will get extended holiday times!
This role is working 5/7 days and some weekends and early evenings will be required so you will need to be flexible with your working pattern. This is mainly morning shifts though.
As the kitchen closes down for 3 weeks over Christmas you are able to take extra time off with Lieu time built up during the term time. The Catering Manager is keen for the whole team to ensure they get good rest and time off during holidays and down time at school
The Sous Chef will work in a team of 5 Chefs and work under a very supportive Executive Chef who will lead and work very closely with you. Cooking for around 100 for breakfast and around 900 for lunch. There are also sit down dinners, canapes, afternoon tea's and other events
