Job Role: Senior Chef de Partie

Salary: £31,000 + Paid Overtime at 1.5X

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Chef de Partie for a leading private education site based in East Sussex . You will work in a kitchen team of 17 Chefs catering for around 2000 meals on a daily basis so experience in large sites is essential for this role.
This Senior Chef de Partie role will be covering all sections in the kitchen, so a good all round background would be beneficial. You will leas the section and have a CDP working with you on each shift.
The Senior Chef de Partie will work alongside 4 other Senior Chef de Parties and provide all food for restaurant and cafe spaces as well as events a required. Good organisational skills are required as you will often have a lot going on at the same time, You will offer Breakfast / Lunch / Supper for both daytime students and boarders
The role is working 5/7 days with around 1/3 weekends needed. Hours worked will be generally daytime hours with evenings only required for events and function's. This is a 40 hour contract and overtime is paid at 1.5X after this.
Shift patterns will be between 5.30am for occasional breakfast shift or 7.00-3.30pm / 8.00-4.30pm / 11.00-7.30pm
This Senior Chef de Partie role gives a good work / life balance as well as being supported by an Exec Chef / Head Chef and 3 Sous Chefs you will have good strength in the kitchen with a lot of the team already being on site around 2-3 years.
