Job Role: Head Chef

We are looking for a Head Chef and we are working with a leading Contract Catering company for Private Education site in Somerset, this is a large operation and you need experience in running large scale operations, ideally from within Education but a strong banqueting background could be suitable.
This role is working 5/7 days and some weekends and early evenings will be required so you will need to be flexible with your working pattern.
The Head Chef will lead a team of around 14-15 plus support staff as needed so good man management skills will be required. You will be preparing around 1200-1500 meals per day so this is a large scale operation.
The kitchen will cater for each day for both students and staff, there will also be hospitality events and functions as required. The Head Chef will need experience in cooking for large numbers on a daily basis. An Education or Contract Catering background would also be well suited to this role.
